Dan Jackson

Dan Jackson’s long form debut was feature documentary ‘In the Shadow of the Hill.’ While shooting the project, Jackson lived in Brazil’s largest slum for a year. The film won best doc at the Sydney Film Festival, a Director’s Guild Award, it was nominated for five and won two Australian Academy Awards amongst a slew of other accolades. Dan has since developed a slate of scripted and non-fiction projects and is currently completing his sophomore feature ‘Death of a Shaman.’
